[Three20i]

Hello everyone,

Finally picked myself up a 2025 G20 330i after retiring my 2014 N20 320i. It's been a lot of fun to drive. I've heard a lot of good things about the B48 in these 2025+ models like having factory port injection and a TU pump.

I'm aware of the IPOS turbos, but am not looking to go much farther than ~415 whp. Are there any turbos on the market that can deliver a consistent 400 whp that are more cost effective than the IM450 and IM500? From what I can see, the Pure Turbo is no longer available for purchase. Would it make sense/is it possible to get a turbo from a B58?

I appreciate your input. Just trying to save money where I can.

Just because the turbo can flow way more than you want doesn’t mean it cannot be told to only flow so much. Always better to be able to “grow” into a turbo by 10-15% vs be at the limit right away after you get “bored.” Im450 is the perfect size for this.
