Ticking noise on cold start

Hi guys new the to the forum I recently purchased a 2014 bmw with 108k kms about a week ago, I’ve noticed on cold starts it makes quite a loud ticking noise for approximately 1-1.5 minutes before it quiets down. No issues when warm and drives fine I was wondering if this is normal or possibly a timing chain or lifter issues or if anyone can give me any advice would be greatly appreciated
