bm3 stage 1 preventive maintenance

Hey everyone,

I’m planning to do a BM3 Stage 1 (93 octane) tune on my 2019 430i LCI soon, and I want to make sure the car is in solid shape before flashing it. I was thinking of doing basic maintenance myself, like spark plugs and air filter, and then having an independent shop handle anything else if needed.

Has anyone here prepped their car before going Stage 1? Any tips on what to prioritize or common things to check before tuning?

Year/Model: 2019 BMW 430i LCI Coupe
Mileage: 51k miles
VIN: WBA4W3C59KAF91709
Mods: Fully stock for now

Appreciate any advice!

I did all fluids at 60k. Diffs, transmission, oil, spark plugs. It doesn’t hurt to do those a little early and you shouldn’t have to worry about those except oil and speak plugs for another 40-50k.
