Rear brake disc stuck
Dear members,
I would like to replace the rear brake discs on my F31. After getting everything loose, my disc seems to still be stuck behind something. I can move it a bit, but I can’t get it completely off. It seems to “spring” back every time. The handbrake is off and the gearbox is in neutral. Thanks in advance for thinking along! Kind regards, |

Assuming that you mean the rotor did you remove the small screw that holds it to the hub? Did you manually back off the parking brake adjustment star wheel ?

Thanks for your answer man!
Yes i removed the little screw, but no, i did not manually release the pressure on the handbrake spring, so put the haldbrake off is not enough? And do i need to turn it upwards to release pressure or downwards? Thanks in advance! |

It's not the handbrake spring, it's the shoes inside the drum section of the rotor. If not backed off they have a tendency to prevent the rotor from being pulled. Google it.
