White smoke and emL
Hello I have a 330e f30 on 87k miles. I got a stage 1 2 days ago. I revved the car stationary today and a cloud of petrol snelling white smoke came out the exhaust and a EML. These are the codes. I was told it might be caused by a air leak due to a small gap in my mst intake pipe.

start with refitting the inlet pipe, since thats enough to throw a small vacuum leak code.
Your "101F" and "21B000" code corresponds with the HPFP and a vacuum leak and leads to replacing it, atleast for me. "104B01" corresponds with your throttle and electrical side. "21A02D" corresponds with ignition and spark(plugs and coils) and valve correction(check spark gap, impurities like oil, and coil plug condition. "1F2802" deals with a coding issue in the DME. "118401" is could be related to a purge valve or fuel tank breather. "11CF30" is also a vacuum leak, MAF, intake issues. It's possible the engine is burning off excess oil if it it's over filled but id also check your spark plugs to see if your valve cover gasket is going bad. It really sounds like an air leak so I'd recommend starting on your intake and retighten everything along with checking for leaks. I did my n26 with a GFB blow off valve, new high and low press. fuel pumps(fuel malfuntion), valve cover(aluminum) and gasket, charge pipes, catch-can, and a "cold" air intake, and still need a tune but i have a plume of smoke on the road every now and then and it's still emabarassing lol. Hope this helped with the diagnostic side of things. |
