BMW F30 Windshield Washer Leak

Good day all. I have 2015 320i and the error for my windshield washer fluid keeps coming on. I fill it up, the light goes off, and a few days later it's back on. I have to assume I have some sort of leak. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what was the fix? I found a video of someone fixing a different model, but it was a rubber o ring on one of the connecting plastic lines.

If I understand correctly, the washer reservoir is on the passenger side behind the wheel well liner.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

The obvious starting point for me me would be isolate where the leak is coming from, by checking for a pool of water somewhere under the front of the car.

If it's under the washer fluid bottle, then it could be the pump motor o-ring as you've suspected.

If it's under the opposite side, or more to the front of the car, then it might be a loose tube connecting to the headlight washers.

If it's just a puddle under the centre of the car (and it's not from the AC) then it could be the pipes connected to the washers on the hood.

If you can't find an obvious leak, then it might even be the pipes that go all the way to the rear window washer.

That’s the strange part, I haven’t noticed any puddles under the car. I park in the garage and it would be pretty easy to spot. Perhaps I’ll look more closely in the next few days and update after that. Thanks for the tips.

Does the level actually go down? If not, then it's probably the level sensor on the bottom of the reservoir (or the cabling/module linked to that part).
