I'm thinking of similar interior options on Carbon Black Metallic, but find it difficult to justify the $1,080 USD premium BMW charges for that piano black so might go with the carbon aluminum. Though I must admit... it gives the interior such a classy and sophisticated look...

Yeah Ive had to pay for the piano black trim as the new ivory white means the glovebox is also white and the carbon aluminum looked a bit odd with the black above and white under. Preference was for the carbon and having a black glovebox like the pre-LCI. Plus its going to the inidividual factory for the paint, so thought I'd get my moneys worth out of the delay that causes...

Plus, I love the carbon black, but the colour is very popular in the UK, so wanted something a little different and I'm not brave enough to go for snapper rocks!

Ya, I hear you on Snapper Rocks, too bold for me.

Carbon Black isn't that common stateside, at least in the greater Chicagoland area, as far as I am concerned.

Best guess would be mid april, definitely not till inventory starts landing in the dealers

I'm a bit confused because my dealers is saying july delivery but according to BMW production ends on the 17th of march. Guess I'm going to have to wait and see.

For Deliveries in the US, 4 Series LCI will start arriving in July.
My production starts in May for a mid or late July delivery.

I have a friend at Rolls Royce who was able to put me in direct contact with people in BMW to sort as part of a staff referal programme. Got lucky as was about to buy two new BMW's through a dealer and saved a lot via this route! Tip: befriend someone in the BMW group

We probably need to start including the country where we ordered when giving delivery dates as it looks like delivery varies depending on where you are. I was told to expect an early June delivery for a TB vert on a US order. Ive had my production number for over 3 weeks but the order is still in 111 status with no production date so i'm not completely sold on that yet. My CA hasnt been available for some reason...

My order was placed 2 weeks ago, starting production in May and delivery July/August delivery of a GC.

I ordered my GC and it will start production in the 2nd week of May.

That puts my order way ahead of that schedule at the week of April 16th which came direct from BMW Genius. Something has to give if what you say is true . CA did tell me itd be one of the first LCI Convertibles built but he could be hard selling. I guess time will tell.
