Evening All,

Not new to BMW but new to the GT i've just bough and I have a question which i'm hoping somebody can answer for me.

the rear spoiler you can control with a button on the drivers door however id like to know the following if possible.

should it raise and lower automatically
and should it lower etc when to park up and lock the car ( if so how do you set it )
currently i have the green light on the button drivers door.

Hi James,

If the light is green that means it's been manually deployed, and it will remain so until the button is pressed again (while the vehicle is on). Otherwise the the spoiler will deploy at roughly 67mph and retract around 50mph (off the top of my head so I may be a little off). These values can be customized by coding via something like Bimmercode if desired.

I did try to change the limit when the spoiler goes down from 70 to 40Kph and goes up from 110 to 120Kph via Bimmercode and the module kept erroring... so I set it back to default.

Also you will have to hold the button down slightly longer to bring the spoiler down

Hello you weren't miles off at all! The spoiler deploys at 68mph and retracts at 48 mph (well mine does) I'm also new to the GT model so looking at modifying as funds allow over the next few months.
