What is your budget for the suspension upgrade?

Hmm. Just the B14 coilovers from Bilstein will run you a tad over 1k. Then factor in install labor unless you plan to do it yourself

Other coilovers will run you way above your budget. Unless adjustability is crucial for you, perhaps some Bilstein B8 struts with Eibach pro kit springs will be a better alternative

@bmw22915 covered all items more than well. One more item to consider: depending on when the last four wheel alignment was done, you may have to factor it in.

coilovers under 2k
- KW V1, V2, V3
- Bilstein B14, B16

KW will ride softer and Bilstein will be firmer.

Definitely change the suspension. The stock M Sport suspension is too compliant. Don't get cheap coil overs though. If you're going to do it, get decent stuff.

Put the last 7 of your VIN into a vin decoder site. If you have active M suspension or something, then you have the active dampers.
