Hey guys, I've been retrofitting my black Sensatec 328i interior with with Dakota leather parts so I could do some contrast stitching. It started with an armrest, then sport seats, and now this. I bought two front door cards of eBay and one arrived kinda dented up. I decided I would try my hand at taking the leather from the dinged up door card and replacing the Sensatec on my stock door card. You have to drill out the little plastic welds that hold the leather arm rest on. Then once that is off you have to peel the leather from the door card. It's glued on with foam. I then removed the parts from my stock door card and used super glue to adhere the leather. Then I used some screws and washers to fasten the armrest to my stock door. I had to drill out the holes where the plastic welds were to fit the screws. It turned out great! You'd never know it didn't come like that. Just thought I'd share since I've never seen a DIY for this. Thanks!
