What are peoples thoughts on Bilstein b14 coilovers? I've currently got h&r springs but I think the car feels awful.

Do people upgrade their anti roll bars?

Mr car is a 35d m sport xdrive

I would check out the m-performance suspension. You can get the shocks without springs for 650 USD. If you have the msport pkg already the sway bars are up to the task of stiffer springs and shocks per BMW's recommendation. There is a lot of labor in a sway bar swap so I don't think it's a common modification.

The BMW kit also comes with new top hats/rear shock top mounts and a bit of hardware. I have the whole kit with the associated springs and I find it quite tolerable.

Where did you buy M Performance shocks for that price?

Trying to decide whether or not I want Bilstein B8's to compliment my ACS springs or something else...

I've had Bilstein B14s for about a year now. Honestly, I think they're too heavily damped for daily driving (they mellow out a bit when ambient temps are warm...but borderline painfull when temps dip below 20F).

Only benefit (for me) is they killed a good bit of rear squat I used to get under heavy acceleration.

I'm curious to know how the M-perf springs and dampers fair.

I would echo the MPSS loads up faster and is less forgiving to aburpt throttle input. It's is less forgiving over some fast compression events. I haven't driven it in the cold yet, so no comment there.
