F32 Offset question
Hi guys,
I recently had a bent wheel from a pothole and replaced all four wheels for my f32. I got the exact same wheels (19x8.5, 19x9.5), but the offset for the new wheels are all et35 whereas my old wheels are et35 et38 rear. Same tires (225 /40, 255 /35 rear) Can this change ride quality? I feel like it's more bumpy on the road than it was before. I got my tires/balance checked and they're okay, so I'm trying to find out if it's the wheels or something else that's causing this. Thanks! |

That's odd! did you re-use the same old tires? or replaced with new/different tire brand? I doubt that 3mm offset in the rear will cause ride quality issues.

I'm using the same tires. I took it to the dealer and they said there's no issue but they also think it's my tires. So I went to the tire shop but they said no issues with the tires...

Its possible that they either inflated your tires to higher pressure that you are used to or you are just paying more attention to the ride quality and noticing the bumpiness more than normal. Otherwise I really cannot think of anything that would make the ride stiffer.
