Hi, I’m new to the site and have gathered an awful lot of knowledge on coding and I’m very confident in certain aspects. One thing that has got me scratching my head is my reverse/back up camera retrofit on my 2014 F33 Idrive 435...
I’ve added the 3AG and 5DL to the VO and injected the CAFD as I’ve also fitted the mirror cameras. But I can’t get them to work ITSA is coming back ok with no errors apart from the two front bumper cameras missing; which I’ll fit at a later date.
So am I missing some coding on the head unit side of things I’m 99% there it’s so fustrating.
Oh yea I have read tons of posts but can’t find that crucial information

Full is not the answer. Full has no CAFD that Lite does not have. Update your PSdZData Lite. PM sent.

Got the same error message again. Im now super stuck. Let me explain what I did :
I added HO-Wort = HIFI to the FA, saved it to the car, following the instructions on the forum.
I then Read FA, Activate FA, Read SVT (VCM), Right Clicked HU-NBT, and clicked Code.
The screen flashed a bit, then went dead, so i tried to code again using the backup FA and i got that error message. Screen/Radio still dead. Do I need to code the combox for HO-WORT = HIFI as well? Do you perhaps know what the combox ECU name is because i cant see anything remotely resembling combox in the list of 12 ECUs. I have never seen this CAPD error message before. I have done this loads of times and it just works.
I will add that the last coding wasnt done by me - I had NBT2 and a touch screen and new KOMBI unit added by an installer in London and they coded - i am thinking it may be something they have done. Any help would be much appreciated!

Ok I reinstalled everything from scratch and it coded the HU properly (I think) but the screen is still blank. Is it perhaps because there are other ECUs I need to code? Does the TCB and ICM need to be coded?

IF you have BLANK SCREEN, its likley because your resolution or size is not set correctly.
