Then it is flashing / reprogramming you need and you need an expert to do it (if at all anyone outside of BMW can).

To get rid of the Logo/Platzhalter, just set the Performance Logo to 'Not Active'. The Performance Logo Variant is just a sub option, so if it is not active, then nothing will display.

I tried coding the acoustical confirmation lock unlock and it doesn’t make any noise..
Can someone help me with that? I know I don’t have an alarm
But I’ve heard stories where it would work for people that didn’t have any alarms

Appears to be completely impossible. The only thing you can really get are M550i or M135 I think (and I am on the August 2019 i-step level).

You kinda confirm the date/time on your iDrive and it transfers to the instrument cluster.

I had a new bimmercode. I tried it on my 2014 model 3.20d f30 case, but there was no setting option like instrument cluster. Especially I bought it for the m performance text to appear. Does anyone know about this? or who will give me a solution?

Its in the first menu when you open up interment cluster

Having some similar issues that have come up in this thread, which is why I'm not making a new one. I've got a 2017 340i and am very new to coding... just got my OBD Link CX and coded some basic stuff with lighting and getting rid of the startup warning.

I ventured into the instrument cluster to change the fuel warning thresholds and saw the M Performance option as well as the instrument logo option. I tried both and neither worked for me. I got the 300/Platzhalter logo when trying to code the bottom right logo. It appears that doesn't work at all for my software. That's fine no big deal.

I'm seeing people getting the "M Performance" message showing up in their cars in the middle of the instrument cluster. I can't get this to work. Tried coding it in 3 times, didn't seem to work any of the times and restored a backup each time to go back to square one. Am I doing something wrong, or does this option just not work on my car?



EDIT: Nevermind... got M Perf logo to work! As for the car specific logo, appears that's still a bust.

I am also trying to get the m-performance logo on startup in the cluster, but no matter what i choose, the BMW letters is always showing. I red somewhere that you need to have an extended cluster to be able to do this. Can someone confirm that? I have the cluster below:

But none working, i boughjt a enet cable i have installed e-sys but i dont know hwere to and what to code to activate my media control from the steering wheel.Can someone to tell me the exact steps and what exacly to change to can code that?

I coded mine to say 340i on the bottom right but when I did "platzhalter" is written over the 340i. Know how to get rid of that ?

I have the same cluster as you and I can’t get the M Persofmance logo to work. Looks exactly like yours

That's because it only works on the 6WA extended cluster.
