I am in the market right now.....

I really don't want to get another 335 since I've already owned one. Getting a 4 door is not an option for me since I want a coupe and it will be once again a weekend car for us....

Option # 1 = S5: Currently wait on it is 10-13 months with no price guarantee and with no delivery date commitment. Also, knowing Audi's, the price of the car will take a dump when they are everywhere and will depreciate much faster than a BMW.

Option #2 = Get a 2008 m3 off the lot close to invoice price or order a 2009 and wait. Since i can not find the exact M3 in anyone's inventory and I want the new i-drive ordering a 2009 seems more logical.

Option #3 (not your question): get another 335 ED and save bunch of $$$....in your case, it would be a 328.

When I was buying my 335 2 years ago the S5 and the M3 did not exist. At the time the only other car for consideration was Sonic Blue Volvo S60R. I was more open to driving a sedan back then but 335 clearly won the battle

In all honestly if the 335 did not exist i would spend more money for a c63 amg or an s5. I would have to mull it over.

A decently loaded S5/S4 can be had for about 52K without Nav and adaptive suspension, but I wouldn't want one. The 4.2 V8 is a gas guzzler and not many mods available. 335i in stock form is faster and much better on gas. Now the upcoming V6 supercharged S4 will be just as quick, similarly priced, ride on the same chassis, be much better on gas, and have an available 7speed DSG transmission along with a 6MT. I would hold out for the B8 S4

Hmm, i think if the 335 did not exist i'd go with the S5, or the C63.

E60 M5 ('06)

They are in the same price range as the 09 e93 335i with very little miles.

It was a big decision, but I went for the 09 335i.

For my real needs and wants, either a 328 or A4/5 will satisfy me.

For me, if the 0.9 APR didn't exist, I would have just kept my car and wait for Audi's TDI's next year.

An A5 3.0 TDI would be nice.

Before buying the 335i, I also considered the Infiniti M35. I'd probably lean toward the M35 instead of the MB C350 for reliablity reasons.
