Not yet. I just dropped a chunk of change on the wheels.

I think lowering is more of an owner's desire, not a need. It's for the look and for the performance. If your purpose of lowering the car is to get rid of a gap, just get thicker tires.
Good advice. Thanks!

So I'm experimenting on making some updates to my wheels. I bought the plasti dip anthracite metalizer spray to coat the silver part of the wheel spokes. So far, I love the results but it's a pain in the ass to do this properly. This won't be the final result but definitely looks much better than the original silver. See the difference in the wheel colors. I'll be removing and reapplying when I have the time and patience.

I like it. I'm looking to do the same on mine. Either that to get the silver darker or get it all gloss black to match the rest of the wheel. Seems a lot of work to tape the non silver parts

Sweet ride you have there! It definitely is. For the silver, I suggest to try that anthracite or silver metalizer. After that, add a couple of coats of glossifier. Keep me posted on what you decide to do. I'd like to check it out!

Got mine finally painted last weekend. I tried plastic dip but I didn't like the outcome and there is to much work to be able to remove the tape and not mess the paint. SO I went I did it with real paint. I sanded all the silver part and used dupli color wheel coating and the gloss clear coat. Better result less work. Here are some pic, they are dirty because the rain here in Florida.

We already have the black and I didn't like the gray ones back then.

Yes, I've seen that guy's thread. It's still not my fav look. I prefer the black/Ferric grey. Overall, I think I'll dip it on my own. Thanks for the heads up.

Curious if you had stock wheels before these and how the ride compares. I have the stock 17' and thinking about getting these but really don't want to lower because of warranty bc with my luck something would go wrong.

Also debating run flats as I don't want to get a flat and risk rim damage

Hey Luke. Yes, i had the 17" stock with crappy tires up front, run flats rears. Got these just a few months ago. Honestly, they're great. I ended up with 19s, 225/40 front, 255/35 rear Bridgestone potenza (non RF) and they drive well. I expected to feel more road, potholes, and a rougher ride, but they feel great. They are slightly heavier though.

Best suggestion would be to get a good roadside assistance service either through AAA or your insurance company.

Rim damage is always a risk, but good thing is that they're reparable and not too expensive to replace if needed.

Good luck!

Hallo everyone,

I am considering a change of wheels for my F32 (435i Xdrive). I am strongly thinking of the M437 wheels. Has anybody seen (LIVE) the 20' (replica) variant of these wheels? In Europe I can get them in the following specs:

8.5J 38 ET Front
9.5J 45 ET Rear

Just wanted to hear your thoughts. I would like to stay with 20ies since I got used to this since I have the BMW Styling 660 wheels.

I'll probably dip them, switch coatings and finishes around just to update the look and feel once in a while. Might even switch up the outer spoke to another color.

Thank you for this, I ended up getting the same wheels. Your car being similar to mine in color made my decision easier. Will be putting them on in a week !!
