Fixing front license plate holes and transport damage

I dont need a front plate in Alberta, so I wish the previous owner of my Ontario sourced 2016 340i used the tow hook mount for the front plate...

I have bought 3 previous cars from states that had front plates and they weren't as noticeable as my new 340i. They used 4 screws. My E90 M3, Cayenne and CTS-V all only had 2 holes and the edges around the holes didnt stick out from the bumper. I simply put the 3M/Rock Guard on bumper and it didnt bother me.

These holes are a little more noticeable. See pics.

The transport company also damaged the right side of the bumper. I did not notice in my walk around when picking up the car as it was filthy dirty, so I am pissed at myself for that. I washed the car right away and have left Hauling co a message and before/after pics. Good thing the they forgot the credit card machine when I picked up the car and I have not paid yet. See third pic.

Short of repainting the entire bumper, thoughts on how to fix this damage?

Looks like the paint is rubbed off and the black part is the bumper plastic itself, right? Unfortunately only correct fix is a respray of the bumper. Some bumper repair guys can spot touch up spray that part only, but quality can be iffy.

If I was in your shoes, I'd respray the whole bumper and get those bumper holes filled as well.

The right way would be a full bumper cover respray.

I was in a similar situation and used a razor blade to carefully cut off any protruding plastic from each hole... then I filled each hole with silicone caulking... then I touched up each hole with factory touch up paint.

Im fine with this set up while my bumper gets pelted with other road debris. Eventually, I will get a respray and PPF to prevent it from happening again.

If I can get the transport damage fixed with out a full respray, i like your razor blade abs culking idea.

Sounds ghetto but it's honestly not bad looking and barely noticeable from a few feet.

Couple pics from very recently. To me its a thousand times better than a front plate... which is required by law in my state

On my E90 I used plastic wall mollys and fit a set of tight ones into the holes. I then plasti dipped them black to "match" the paint!

Sounds horrible, but no one ever noticed unless I pointed it out! Happy to have a mint bumper now with no holes pre drilled

It's definitely not worth doing a full respray for just those. Any decent body shop can fill those and blend the paint to look decent enough for a couple hundred bucks. Or you can do it yourself like sspade has done. That looks good enough, IMO.
