Windshield cowl replacement
Anyone replace a windshield cowl and had issues with it sitting flush? I have one section that won't sit flush against the windshield. I've tried adjusting and pushing up on it to get the latch to grab hold but no luck.

I had to do this many times with old e46 bmw. So far for 3 years I have not had a problem with my f30. But yes many of the replacements sat up and only with time became more flush. The sun had a magic role in both causing it sit down and seal better and in destroying it. I had the e46 for 15 years and found the cowl had to be replaced every 3-4 years.

I purchased mine through FCP Euro as well. It's weird it's just that one spot I realize now it's difficult to tell in the pictures that it's raised up lol

I am replacing mine as soon as the replacement arrives. I have a wiper blade puller however how do I ensure the arms go back in the correct spot. Mark it on the windshield? Or do the splines on the post and blade arm match up a certain way?
