BC Coilover issues

Anybody running BC coilovers on their F30/F31?
They ride great but ever since i've installed them, the top hats are pretty noisy. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this and what was the solution aside from replacing the Top hats with a different brand? BC doesn't reply to my emails about this..

Just to clarify: does your vehicle have BC camber plates?

From my personal experience bc has horrible customer service. Are they top hats torqued to spec once the car was on the ground? If the top hats are making noise it usually because it's not torqued properly.

Yeah, camber plates / metal strut top mounts on the F3X cars are VERY likely to rattle, clank, etc.
I'm not saying they ALL do, but like in my case (Millway Camber plates) and many others (per my indy BMW shop), when they do, it'll drive you crazy.

In my case, I went the ST XA coil-over route and used the stock OEM strut mount. All the joys of adjustable dampening and ride height adjustment with none of the clanking, clattering, rattling of camber plates.

I wonder if ISC coilovers have any issues. Try them.

Based on the installation experience I'm going through right now I have no doubt you're bottoming out too often and either that's what you're hearing or the frequent bottoming has damaged the something.

Absolutely awful setup without customization which you can't properly do without having the parts first.

BCs are very noisy and on the cheaper side. I have them on my Honda Civic. The camber plates are horribly noisy. KWs or Ohlins are where it's at.

You live and you learn It was my first set of coils and I'm still paying the price to this day as my Honda is my daily. I wish I would have have opted for KWs 6 years ago lol. If you have a BMW you should be using quality parts.
