for more traction you can do wider, taller(gearing), stickier compound or combination thereof. tire compound will have the most impact on traction however it may compromise noise and comfort, or be more expensive.
the widest i've seen on the rear is 295/30/19 @ ET45 on rays340i 255/35/19 @ ET30-35 front, 295/30/19 @ ET45 rear 245/40/19 @ ET30-35 front, 275/35/19 @ ET40-45 rear 245/35/19 @ ET30-35 front, 285/30/19 @ ET40-45 rear personally, i'd get 18's 255/40/18 ET30-35 front, 285/35/18 ET40-45 rear |

you could buy just rear APEX 19x11 ET44 SM-10 with 295/30/19(26"). it should fit but i'm not 100% certain. you should still change your front size to 255/35/19, though. |

I know I should've done a different size, I was just following their fitment guide and had also asked them but I regret it lol. For sure I'll change the rears first to 18's, thank you!

as i stated in a previous post, 295/30/19 ET45 @ -1.9 camber is the widest i've seen on rays340i, here...https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...+295%2F30%2F19 the section width (widest point on the tire) on that Hankook is 11.8". IF the outer width on the 19x11 ET44 SM-10 is less than 11.8", you should be able to run those wheels with 295/30/19 in the rear. wheel width is measured between the bead seats,(not from lip to lip). if you can query APEX to give you the absolute width of the 19x11. If you don't want to risk that, the max width on 19x9 is 275/35/19 however it will be poking at ET30 and may contact the fenderwell lip under compression. |

Michelin ps4’s are good to about 450 depending on street composition. Asphalt generally is more traction limited than concrete. Since you’re higher than that I highly recommend getting into the R compound tires.
