I had the opportunity to be stationed in Germany for 4 years and purchase the car a year and a half into my tour.

The wheels look awesome. I wonder why turner would put 5h!t nexen tires in a size one profile down on it. Wish it had mp4s, mpss or conti ECS in 245/40 or 255/40

Will the 18x9.5 +35 fit okay on the back of an F30 340i? Assuming a tire size of 275/35/18? Usually I see more around the +45 commonly used for the rear.

Thank you for the question! The 18x9.5" ET35 is quite an aggressive offset for the rear. It would require fender rolling and negative camber in order to fit properly. Even so, it would be very tough to fit a 275/35-18 tire. Ideally you would want to run an 18x9.5" ET43 in the rear. We have that fitment available in our EC-7 design. Most customer run a 255/40 tire. You could run 265's as well but may require a small fender roll. With that said, 265/40-18 is a touch tall, and 265/35-18 is a touch short. Let us know if you have any other questions

Any plan to do 18x9.5 ET43 in your SM-10 wheel that I see in your Group Buy? If so, I would be happy to put a deposit down now

I am going to be getting new summer rims as I slapped my winter tires on my stock OEM rims. I am really starting to like the look of an 18” wheel. Is it just me or is the sidewalk noticeably thicker? I would image that the ride would be a little more conforming from a comfort standpoint as well? And the overall cost would be less for both rims and tires!

What would be the best setup with your SM-10 wheel on a 2016 340 Xi. I will be lowered on Dinan Springs. I want a flush fitment with no rubbing or needing to roll fenders.

Thanks!

This is clean and spot on.
Very Nice square set up for us xDrive people.
Would have liked to put on some 255/40 instead perhaps.

Thanks for the post! All we know at the moment is that the car is on these ST XA Coilovers:

Do you know the maximum mm/inch the F30 chassis can go closer to the suspension?
Im looking these two options that et are 58 and will give a the bigger tires size like 285 or 295.

I am looking at getting some ARC-8 19" for my Mineral Gray Metallic F32 iX. Can't decide what colour I should get - Hyper Silver, Anthracite, or Satin Black. I wish there was bronze for the 19". Anyone got some pictures or recommendations please?

I am also torn between the decision of staying 225/340-19 & 255/35-19 or going square with 255/35-19. Suggestions?

Thanks!

Thanks for the post! We don't have an exact measurement for the F30 inner clearance, but we know the 18x9" ET42 will clear the front suspension with a 245/40-18 tire, and 18x9.5" ET43 will clear the rear suspension with a 265/35-18 tire (rolled fenders may be required).

Here are some photos to help your decision:

Satin Black on Mineral Grey:

Hyper Silver on Mineral Grey

Anthracite photos are posted above with the SM-10s wheels, we don't have any with ARC-8s just yet.

As far as square vs. staggered, it ultimately comes down to how you plan to use the car. A staggered setup will let you run a slightly wider tire on the rear, which can help if the car is tuned for more power. A staggered setup will also tend to induce understeer before oversteer, much like the OEM setups. A staggered setup is often preferred for aesthetic reasons as well, since it lets you fill all available space in the wheel wells.

A square setup allows for proper front-to-rear tire rotation, and provides more neutral handling characteristics by using the same size tire all around. We prefer square setups for performance driving and/or track use, not only for the handling benefits, but also the increased tire life.

Hope this helps!

Would a EC-7 19x8.5 ET35 with 255/35r19 work for a square setup on a 340i with the m-performance brakes, m-adaptive suspension (stock) work?

Thanks,

Andrew
