Squealing is caused by inadequate lubrication of the pad to caliper and carrier contact surfaces, not the pad.

What brakes - rotors and pads - does your car have? OEM, aftermarket? How many miles since the last brake service?

Remove and lubricate?

Easy to do on blue brakes?

it depends on what you'll be doing with the car.

foe daily driving, definitely go with zinc coating or a rust free guarantee rotor. most ceramic pads are good.

I always put a little crc disc brake quiet on the back of the pads and really never have issues with squeal.

also make sure you burn in the brakes if they require it.

Very easy. Pop the pins with a pin punch, spread and pull the pads. Putting it back together is only a bit more complex, due to the anti-rattle springs.

Hi All

I had the same problem. BMW F30 LCI. Large blue brake system (370mm front brake disc, 345mm rear brake disc). It has a factory brake disc. I tried several brake pads. Factory, TRW, ATE Ceramic, Quaro Ceramic brake pads. Unfortunately, none of them provided a solution. A car mechanic has successfully used the EBC Yellowstuff insert on several cars (BMW M8, BMW X6M). I also bought one for the front brake and so far I have used over 1200km without any problems.
