The US model doesn't get fog lights in order to enhance cooling? So is the European model going to suffer from overheating problems? What makes the European model able to withstand the heat better than the US model? Why is the US model more sensitive to overheating? Is the average ambient temperature in the US hotter than Europe?

Or is BMW just looking for cost-cutting measures?

That exhaust design looks terrible. Is that the best they could come up with? A can with two outlets?

Garage List
Did they change something? For some reason it looks like the steering wheel and front bumper looks different from the original?

Based on several news reports the M package will be available from the release, along with the other trims.

Can anyone confirm this?

It may be due to the number of US customers that track their cars, whereas in many other countries its not done due to insurance and warranty restrictions

Its going to sound great. The N55 has always been a slightly better sounding engine than the N54. Hopefully by the time the F30 makes it out over here the full potential of the N55 will have been unleashed!

Sound like a sales-talk to me. I assume they'll be optional?
Are fog lights something rare on beemers in the US?

Nope. As said in the first post, production starts in July, deliveries start in September.

It could be cost cutting measures. The 335i is a basement bargain in the US versus the prices European customers have to pay for it.

So long as I have HID's I can deal with losing the foggys

No, in the US fog lights aren't available for the M Sport pack.

This! I find it to be very manual transmission unfriendly. What the heck BMW??

Prefer the E90 M-Sport rear bumper. That steering wheel is horrible...I know it's retro but I don't like it.

What if there's fog? You have no lights to destroy the fog with....

Looks like a mini 5...

This is the same thing I'm questioning. Now it becomes a matter of whether or not you can option an M-Sport Pkg with fogs.

Update: I guess it looks like fogs are not an option

Both reports are wrong. We've talked to Oliver Ganser, 3 Series Product Manager of BMW USA, just before and he confirmed start of production will be in July with deliveries expected to begin in September.

Beautiful color. Not feeling the 04-05 X3 3.0L wheels though. The option 19's look much better.

Any mention of the suspension? Is it the 4 mode adjustable one or is that optional? Also, no colored stiching on the seats? I like that look from the sport line.

Not a fan... although some nice wheels would really clean it up. Would it be so hard for BMW to design some wheels that we would all want? I think this thing would look killer with some BBS CH's.
