You can run Exx and Fxx software on same PC. There is no common folders or conflicts.

Hi

I've just swapped my 2015 F30 for a 2019 F36 and want to fit the aftermarket reversing camera taken form the F30. The supplier says it will fit OK with NBT EVO and as per the F30 needs 3AG adding to the VO.
As this is aftermarket I'd prefer not to VO code.
Is it possible to add 3AG to FA and code and then remove 3AG from FA and write but not code ECU's

Yes, Edit FA, Save FA, load FA in Coding Module, and then Activate FA and VO Code ECU(s).

Does re-coding from bimmecode backup revert the car to original VO? I need to give my car for servicing and would not like the dealer to know that I have coded the car.

I do not use BimmerCode, so I do not know anything about it. If the Backup was made with original factory coding, I would expect so.

OK so I coded the two ECU's but in the progress window for coding after MSM update the VCM was updated by writing FA and FP to VCM

Reading FA from the vehicle now shows 3AG as an option.

Did I miss something or have a wrong setting or option.

If you do not want FA written to car, "Update VCM" cannot be checked under E-Sys Options.
