OEM diameter is 26". 295/40/18 is 27.3" is too tall and with slight poke will rub the fenderwell lip. it's also changing gearing at the pavement, as well as adding weight and rolling resistance.

widest i've seen in rear is 295/30/19(26") at ET45. depending on actual diameter and girth of the specific brand and model of tire, you could probably fit 295/35/18(26.1") at ET45 as well however imo 285/35/18 is the widest practical size in the rear at ET42ish.

you can browse through and query the Wheel and Tire technical subforum for more info and response.

that offset is too low. you can put 285/35/18 on it but the outer tire shoulder and sidewall will be poking hard. you'll need to run stretched tires and add additional negative camber to make things work. im not informed on, nor a fan of slammed/stanced, please read through and query the slammed/stanced thread here...

Would 285/30 18 fit with no issues I don't want a stanced or slammed look.

285/30/18, 24.7" diameter is too small. it will have a large vertical fenderwell gap unless you slam the car low run -3 camber to avoid contact while turning full lock and under compression.

i suggest 275/35/18. you will have to lower to reduce fenderwell gap and have at least -2 degrees camber, to avoid rubbing during compression and turning full lock. here is an example.

if you don't lower, it may have somewhat of a "toy car" appearance due to large fenderwell gaps and poking tires.

Even on the back 275/35-18 wouldn't work? And for the front 255/40-18?
Thank you for answering cause nobody is helping on the other forums

255/40/18 on 18x9 ET30 front is fine

if you have not ordered the wheels yet, then change the rear wheel size to 18x10.5 ET40. 285/35/18 will fit on this setup.

18x9 ET30 with 255/40/18(26") front
18x10.5 ET40 with 285/35/18(25.9") rear

this will be perfect staggered wheel and tire size combo for you.

What part of GO ASK IN THE RIMS AND TIRES SUBSECTION, are you not understanding? Answering every response with a question is just asinine.

Why are you even here other than to be an asshole? What part of ending the thread with “I appreciate the help” did you not understand?
