Well the best made plans.... you know what they say... actually did the install last night.. First for the install.. fairly straight forward.. even though there's no instructions.. the video above helped greatly.. I wound up just removing the intake.. just seemed easier. Had to re check wiring a few times as both new leads are the same color.. and just was nervous not really knowing if it didn't matter.. but as it turns out and stated in the above video it doesn't matter which side connects to which side.. The fuel line.. is a SOB of a tight fit on the pressure fittings,, even with heat.. but I got it on the fittings... loved the new knock sensor bolt.. and all in all a fairly straight forward install and well made kit. Took me three hours. MHD tune option was straight forward.

Driving.. always subjective.. didn't pull a log last night .. put the car definitely feels better, pulls smoother, and just feels stronger,, weird.. but what can I say.. the ol butt dyno in action.

Agree....absolutely no reason plug should ever be cut and/or sliced in any way.

Should be 100% PnP

Finally got a chance to hit the rollers again! 528 whp and 570 wtrq

Again this is with PS2 Turbo, FBO, XDI-35 HPFP, custom tune + supporting mods.

Runs were all consistent with and awesome power curve as well. Car is running FLASH ONLY and 93oct/boostane for these runs. Car is certainly a blast to drive!

Check out my last dyno log run here.. look at my fuel rail just CRATER during the run to dangerously low levels. This HPFP isnt cheap (so is the OEM), but absolutely worth it in my opinion already.

This tune...auch... I'd be looking for someone else to do it. 0 timing corrections so they actually made the tune to run just 4.5° timing at max rpm. A proper 93 map should give you closer to 9°. Dont think the IAT at 100°F is pulling much timing.

Furthermore - no responsible tuner would push the HPFP that hard.

Bumping the thread for anyone who needs the DIY install after a TTFS HPFP purchase. TTFS is running a Black Friday sale this Friday through midnight Black Friday of $300 off the pumps.

The install isn't hard, the benefits are worth it.. any questions give me a shout.

Does this match the "bm3/MHD" member discount or.... if you're bm3/MHD is it additional?

Agree...but, you'd still have to factor in the cost of bm3/MHD platform. If it's the same cost, why not just check the bm3/MHD discount option and purchase either platform to run?

Pricing for the sale is $300 off the discounted amount $1995... so Black Friday deal is $1695!

That's about the price it should be, if you look at all of the other XDI pumps for other car makes out there.

Hi, big fan of your video on youtube. I just ordered an XDI myself and will install based on your video. I got some questions:

a. what turbo are you running?
b. what custom tune do you have?
