NBT with 6,5" L7 entry Screen possibel ???

Hello.

i want to use an older NBT hw07 with 6,5" L7 entry Screen.
So far i have no luck with this combination.
I have coded nbt with following:

DISPLAY_SIZE_RESOLUTiON = 6.5_ 800x600
DISPLAY_VARIANTE = schmales_display

So far i have only a black screen and nothing else....

Anybody have tested nbt with 6,5" screen ???

Perhaps a software update of the old nbt helps ??

Thanks

NBT only works with a 8.8" or larger screen.

I believe the non-navigation works with the smaller screens.

In fact a 2018 loaner had that setup.

HU_NBT = navigation professional with 8.8" or larger screen
HU_ENTRYNAV = either 6.5" matte screen without nav OR glossy screen with basic/business nav

OP says he has NBT, so he must have nav professional, therefore it won't work with the 6.5" screen.

You need to re-read my post more carefully:

Even business nav has a diff 6.5 to my knowledge, it was eyeing one before it but I believe it was "L7 CID MID" but entry nav (no nav just prettier) I've seen used with the matte 6.5 (check out the screen upgrade vid from kies motorsport, he originally had the matte 6.5 with entry nav) BUT after trying different stuff because I was trying to use a matte 6.5 with my NBT I was not able to get it to work AT ALL screen just stayed black completely, I tried coding it, diff 6.5 matte cause I thought mine was broken, repining, nothing worked at all. It was only after I got my bigger screen that it worked.

AFAIK there are two 6.5" screens used with HU_ENTRYNAV: a matte screen (if HU doesn't have nav) and a glossy one (if HU has business nav).

Both of these screens don't work with an NBT head unit, it requires a 8.8" or 10.2" screen.

EDIT:
Link to 6.5" matte screen: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&postcount=106
Link to 6.5" glossy screen: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...0&postcount=62
(both OPs upgraded their screens to 8.8", but the first photos show their original 6.5" screens)

I have a f20 2018 lci2 with glossy screen with business nav.

Should I only buy the bigger screen and then plug it?

Will it works? (Obviously after coding new res)
Thank you
