Remaps and fuel economy

Will the fuel range on the display adapt after a while?

On my 320d the range shows as 638 with a full tank. However, with a 4 mile drive from the fuel station to work it dropped to 623. I am not exactly using all of that additional power.

Pre-remap that figure would have hardly changed. May be 636 or something.

I went out and checker it again, it was showing 628.

Anyone else had this? Normal?
