One question here. Every time I connect my S10 either via Bluetooth or USB it connects the wifi. If I turn the wifi off it will disconnect AA.

The problem is that when WiFi is one there is no internet over wifi as it's connected to the MMI and therefore I get no internet on my cellphone as it's prioritising wifi over mobile.

How do you guys solve this? Is it really needed to have the wifi on for AA?

My S10 has in advanced wifi settings the ability to switch to mobile data if WiFi has no internet connection.

It's working flawlessly for me on AA with my Samsung Galaxy S10e. Not sure what is causing the issue for some. I even have Auto Aux set to off.

Only thing...I thought that I previously saw the Exit button in the apps section changed to the BMW badge icon. It's now just showing as "Exit." Maybe I was imagining it...

You can use Siri to skip songs then but guess the plan B is to revert to the Bimmertech firmware until Andream releases an update. Send them a note on this and hopefully they implement it the next release

I had the same issue with my X1. Enabling “ wheel key on” at Andream Box settings fixed it for me.

I got the same phone but im talking about auto music play.

Autostart AA works fine.

Autostart AA works fine.

I see. Music does automatically play as long as it was playing when I shut off the car.

I have the "automatically resume media" setting set to On in the AA app settings.

I installed a Carlinkit in my 2017 M4 with ID5 and Android Auto is working great. Can I use the link in this thread to flash my unit to get widescree/splitscreen android auto experience, or is the firmware only good for units working with NBT?

Looks like I have a B version unit and I want to update. Can I flash the v1.0.2 and the 20.6 MCU update? Or just the v1.0.2? The post says some versions aren't compatible with the B version units and was wondering if that applied to MCU versions as well.

Yes you can flash both. Just not the custom firmware or the A unit firmware

I renamed the latest v2.0.B0.mod ISPBOOT.BIN to GEMINI_PACK.BIN I used code 8032 to get through the upgrade screen.

Installation started, I hit the menu button to watch the progress, first time failed, the second time I got a smiley with a phone, with a "Please contact with factory!" message box.

Bugger!

Rebooting the unit(holding down the back button)got me back to the original software.

Hi guys,

I just want to ask you how you figure out searching in contacts without siri? I am from czech republic and we don’t have siri in our laguage so it is impossible to search contact via siri because she doesn’t understand. So if I want to search some contact a need to scroll down and it is not definitely safe. Is there any way how to find alphabetic keyboard or something like this? If not it would be great to add it. Currently I am on the new custom sw v2.0.B0.mod and my box is Andream.

Don’t take the piss mate.

Get onto the manufacturers for a fix, don’t expect the community to make fixes so that you can sell more products.
