We are actively working on the installation video (that's me in the video), so we should have it done fairly soon.

Basically, you are replacing the tension spring (with some new motorized components), replacing the latch system ( with motorized components), adding the new switch and then supplying power and ground. We will post the install video once it's finished for all to see.

I've had it in my car for a couple weeks and I love it. Not only can you sing songs while opening and closing the trunk but it's very handy for a number of uses.

Given that the spring is hidden inside the trunk, will there be anything visible inside the trunk or is everything hidden behind the trunk lining?

Is the switch mounted to the trunk lid or to the inside of the trunk?

Hi, everything is 100% hidden. There is a template in the kit to cut out where the new button/switch will be mounted in the trunk liner (just like on cars that came with the option).
