Might be worth quoting what model you drive as I’m sure they will be model specific and maybe you’re unlucky and they don’t do them for yours or another possibility is that the dealer you spoke to doesn’t know what they are talking about or they are not a supplier of ACS parts

My local dealer used to be down as an authorised supplier and fitter on the ACS website but disappeared off the list a year or so back. That notwithstanding, on a recent visit I enquired at the service desk whether they'd still be prepared to fit a set and the chap (youth) I was speaking to told me they wouldn't and that was because the change in ride height would damage the X-Drive system! I was about to launch into how come the dealership used to be an official supplier, how come other BMW dealers in the same Group still fit them, etc, but decided not to waste my breath.... |

Not what but who.
He’s the guy at Rossiters who deals with supplying ACS goodies. You’re far better off buying direct from him as Sytner’s will from experience add on a substantial mark up on his price to obtain the same kit direct from Lorcan. There’s also a list of approved fitters on their website.

I was trying to buy a nearly new 440i GC recently and the salesman didn't know what an MPPSK is.
When I told him that it's a MPerformance Power & Sound Kit he said "Strange that they offer a power kit and upgraded stereo in the same kit". Q

No it's not an issue. One of the reasons people opt for ACS is because they come with their own warranty. So if BMW ever blamed your spring for say your shock absorber failing then they would have a tough time wiggling out of a warranty claim. Where as if you went for H and R coil overs for example, you wouldn't have a chance of a successful claim.
