xDrive upper control arms (tension struts) w/ Powerflex pff5-4101 PU bushings
OEM Lemforder xDrive front upper control arms ("tension strut" in BMW language) with Powerflex pff5-4101 polyurethane bushings installed. All parts have 14 months and 8585 miles of use. $150 shipped in continental US for the full L+R arm and bushing set. Make an offer if you want only the bushings or only the arms.

Meant to include those! The arms are 31126854723 and 31126854724--both Lemforder OEM. The bushings are pff5-4101 as per the first post. I should have unused nuts that go on the ball joint ends to include too.

Also, the bushing was installed with Energy Suspension Formula 5 grease and a single wrap of teflon tape (a recommendation from some to prevent squeaking). Probably makes sense to go ahead and regrease them before install though.

How do these compare to the VAC arms?

Hard to say for sure because I changed multiple parts at the same time:
-TS: Powerflex polyurethane --> VAC monoball -LCA: KMAC adjustable polyurethane --> VAC monoball -top hat: OEM --> Millway street camber plate -dampers: Bilstein B16 --> FCM custom -springs: Bilstein B16 dual rate --> linear and higher rate Overall the most noticeable changes were in damping and cornering balance (alignment, spring rates), which aren't a result of the bushings. There was an increase in noise transmitted into the cabin, but a lot of that may be from the camber plates. In terms of responsiveness to steering inputs I think there was little change when I made these modifications (unlike the big improvement from stock to PU bushings+B16s). Sorry I can't give a more specific response!
