First foggy morning of the winter!

And everyones relying on auto light setting, so just showing DRL's at the front and no rear lights. FFS
But it's ok because they can all see where they are going, especially the silver, white and grey ones

And in the rain don't forget that, bloody morons they either drive in stealth mode in the fog or it's like following a supernova.

Also the amount of drivers I see at the moment that think their DRLs look so cool they just have to have them on in full darkness with no clue that their rear lights aren't on. Very dangerous.

In all honesty they're usually Kia or Hyundai drivers. I think they're trying to extract any little bit of coolness they think they have by driving one.

I think they genuinely don't realise the rear lights are not lit and in some ways you can't blame them, it's bloody stupid.

100% agree

If the fronts are on, the rears may as well be.

Also, alot of cars now have the instrument cluster illuminated all of the time. This used to be an indicator to people that they needed their lights on.

Your brain used to be the indicator you needed your lights on but we seem to be afraid of making people use it these days..

It is too easy to do. I left hospital a bit distracted a few months back and it was half a mile before I realised I was on DRLs in my wife's car. As they are halogens, they always seem like they are barely on anyway compared with mine.

Just like when there's heavy rain and the twats are out in force running their rear fog lights because of the spray dazzling the fuck out of whoever is behind them.

Only use if visibility is below 100m. I've never been in spray as bad as that in 20 yrs of driving.

Nor I. Using fog lights in spray is stupid, it makes brake lights difficult to establish. Mind, I fucking hate fog lights at the best of times, especially fuckwits who put them on in cities, despite the fact nobody has driven into the car ten ahead of them without fog lights on. Fuckers.

I only ever put them on in terrible fog and even then I turn them off if a car appears behind me... Once they can see me I don't need the fog lights on.... And don't get me started on cars that have 2 fogs and look like they are constantly braking..
