F30 Retrofits
Hey guys, just wanting to get some feedback on retrofits, primarily for Perth, with possibility to extend to other states, depending on the situation.
I have a contact in Singapore (Maxx, Elebest Pty Ltd) who specialises in retrofits for BMW (various models), and he was looking at the opportunity at doing retrofits for cars here in Australia, as well as remote coding etc. Here are the list of retrofits, but not limited to: Harmon Kardon Mids and Tweeters NBT Navigation, PDC, Reverse Camera, Surround View Camera BMW Apps Instrument Cluster with extended scope All parts are genuine from BMW, and he has also mentioned that these items can be purchased and installed by the buyer whilst being coded remotely later on, or for an additional charge can be fitted by the guys at Elebest, who will fly down from Singapore to do the install. What are your thoughts? Obviously the system is not the same here as it is in Singapore where the car prices are pushing through the roof with the taxes and what not , and the possibility of retrofits would seem more appealing to them, but would like to get some feedback nonetheless if this idea sounds interesting for those locally in Australia. Thanks |

Thanks for the reply H
Yeah, I did think that the market was quite small in comparison to Singapore. But just putting it out there, that if someone requires some retrofit beyond the common ones (Sat Nav, Reverse Camera) that there is someone that can do it with genuine OEM parts... |

I would be interested, Did some prior research before and have noticed Elebest's retrovids on Youtube. Definitely a possibility in Aus since there's no other retrofitters out there. Niche market for Harmon Kardon Audio, Head up display, NBT Navigation & Soft Close doors for F30's. Having Elebest guys fly down to install the kit sounds expensive though, It all depends on the cost.

Cost of doing the NBT retro would be prohibitive. I suspect most of them would be.

I'm curious about the HK retrofit costs, but most likely would rather spend the money on the m-performance suspension (or other suspension) upgrade instead
but still curious hehe so if you get pricing please let me know! |

id be up for a head up display, comfort access and maybe a hk retrofit
would it be a good idea to have a group of people and fly the guy down from elebest? He could take turns to work on our cars on a back to back basis. We could possibly split the airfare if they make us pay it |

The HUD also requires a different windscreen to the standard one to ensure correct reflection and focus of the display.

Hey guys, just got back some updated prices for the retrofits. Decided to start small first and see how the response is. NBT retrofit would be the first to be offered for now, and depending on the demand would move on to others. If anyone is interested in the NBT retrofit, please PM me for further details.
Thanks |

Just got the price and hoping for a lower group buy price. Might have to postpone the M Performance Brake upgrade if I get the NBT now.

Just PM'ed to inquire about the same thing. I've seen some NBT kits with the standard iDrive Wheel, hopefully this includes the touch drive.
