The Night Photography Thread

This one's for Tim.....I finally brought my tripod with me! I love the structure above the Jay Pritzker Pavillion.

A few more to come when I get a chance to go thru the other pix I have. Walked up to Navy Pier from Grant Park (took the long way...down Michigan and up the river walk) only to have the one place I wanted to snap some pix at closed. There was a private party going on at the very end of the pier. Grrr...

These aren't strictly 'night shots', but were taken under low lighting conditions, albeit indoors. They were taken with my Canon 5d Mark II with the Canon 85mm f/1.8 prime lens.

Yes, when I travel I sometimes seek out the nature also, but cityscapes and nightscapes are available almost everywhere I travel. Taking the tripod is the only extra effort (plus going out in the middle of the night).
