Considering a car change!
No intention of defecting from the marque though!
Thinking about a 440i coupe to replace my loved 435i so been trawling around the dealers recently and spending hours on BMW's configurator running various specs. One question...Driver Assistant in the Innovation Package, who's got it, what do you think and how much control have you got over switching it off if it proves irritating??!! I'm thinking about vibrating steering wheel in particular, I've driven many Mercs for work ( S class, E class, CLS etc ) that have a similar feature and it used to drive me nuts after a while so ended up disabling the damn thing! Can you do the same on a BMW? |

There all switched and the console is where cubby hole would be. I've got it on mine. Only thing i disable is the lane departure, other things are useful, especially the blind spot warning. It also uses the sensors to add to parking package.

I have lane departure/blind spot warning and find the latter in particular really useful. The vibration is never intrusive to me.
Lack of cubby is irritating though, especially when the extended storage pack still costs full price.

Thanks guys for all your comments, now need to decide how to rearrange the crap I've been keeping in there! Could be a good time to chuck out all the stuff I carry and never seem to need.....until you get rid of it of course!
