Had 2 x hankook ventus s-1 Eco 2 k117 255/30/20 fitted to the rear and have to say I'm very pleased with them.
1. It's nice to be off run flats.
2. Very good value for money.

I know everyone says get mpss but the spec of the hankook's was just as good as the top brand ie wet grip A noise 2.
£147 each from oponeo

I've had hankook's before on my e90 330i and really like them and these new ones had the mfs (maximum flange shield) on them which the mpss wasn't as good.
Although not fantastic protection for the rim they look like they fit better than the stock Pirelli p zeros.
1st pic Pirelli
2nd pic hankook.
I think they're a good alternative.
Cheers.

This is good to know, as I will be going for these when its tyre time.
They also look like they fit the rim properly.

Hankook are OEM suppliers for many manufacturers these days, pretty sure you could count them up there with Goodyear, Dunlop etc. The same applies to Vredestein too.

how are you getting on with these, still good? I'm about to order them if there good as its only a little bit more to replace all 4 with these than it is to replace just the rears with Pirelli rfts.

If you look at the reviews on tyrereviews.co.uk the owners of these are all saying they wear out quickly, so they're a false economy compared to PS4S as far as I can see!

Got the same on my car swapped all 4 for Hankook after rears needed replacing.
Didn't feel like I needed MP4s as I don't do the mileage to justify as car is sat in garage most of time, but still wanted a good quality tyre.
I'm happy so far and have a couple of trips to Germany planned so will get a good run in them and see what high speed endurance over a number of hours is like soon.

If you do enough mileage then it definitely makes sense in the long run.

No I'd just replaced the rears at the time. Haven't got the car any more. Good tyres though, had them on my e90 too.

Yes would recommend these. No issues with them at all. Had them on my E90 also.
Haven't got the car any more so didn't change fronts too. But excellent tyre imo.

Just to add, don't buy uniroyal rain sport. No probs with grip, noise etc but they don't last. I bought these for my wife's b-max and they've lasted a year/ 5000 miles. Shite.
The cars not heavy at the front it's the 3cyl 1ltr ecoboost engine.
Should have put hankooks on hers too.
