BMW Service Inclusive confusing website

Hi,

Checking Haliwell Jones service website and it seems totally confusing when looking at service packs etc. I'm thinking for when my new car arrives (I'm ordering through TRL).

One part of the website says "Service Inclusive. covers the cost of a comprehensive list of service items for up to 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first.)

Then at the bottom of the page "BMW models with Service Inclusive or Service Inclusive Plus that were sold as Direct Sales vehicles, are covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs sooner."

My questions are:
- would I be able to purchase Service Inclusive Plus?
- what's classed a Direct Sale?

I'm gutted as cars sold before January 2017 with service packs are covered for 60,000 unlike the 36,000 now currently on offer.

I can't answer your main questions but the BMW service pack went from 60k miles to 50k miles at some point between 2010 and 2014, as my BMWs from those years had 60k and 50k packs respectively, both of them running for a maximum of 5 years. As you say, it is now 36k/3 years.

Our F55 Mini has 80k miles / 8 years, but that's no longer available either, as BMW seem to be downgrading all of the service packs.

It's really annoying, they charge the same but offer less cover.

As far as I know the only thing you can buy now is the 36k/3yr pack, so basically one full service.

I didn't bother with it.
