Damage to high gloss trim 430i conv.
Today I decided to treat the new car to a valet and have used the place before. I took it home and the high gloss trim is damaged with like white bubbles and where the roof closes it has actally worn down to the metal. This happened within an hour. It has never been valeted before and is 7 weeks old. Any thoughts on how to proceed? I am gutted. Not hi-res pics due to the file size.

What the hell?! Did they use paint stripper or something? First go back and find out. If it was strong and they confess they should cover it. Any good valet outfit carries insurance for this purpose. If they are adamant it was a pH neutral cleaner then this could be a factory defect - in which case you'd go to the dealer to raise the issue.
