That helps. Now, did you have the OEM sports line bumper and converted to M-Sport? If so, did you have to change any of the other hardware, such as the deformation elements, shock absorber (styrofoam), brackets, etc.?

I did not have sport line. I had the base model bumpers. I did not change any other styrofoam or shock absorber components. This is what the car looked like before the change(s)

You can literally remove the sport bumper and bolt on the msport bumper right over the existing stuff. I did it before. Problem is the vertical metal support that runs across the rad and the black plastic shroud then become visible as the msport bumper has a bigger opening in the center of the bumper.

The challenge you run into when you leave the existing parts is your new M sport brake ducks won't fit. The very least you have to remove the old ducts out. I think the vertical metal brace that runs across the rad also gets in the way.

We definitely used the new M ducts and grilles, but the shop didn't install the shock absorber (seller sent me an incorrect one), the metal lower support bar (reinforcement bar that runs horizontal across the bottom connected to the deform elements), left the OEM deformation elements, and didn't use the middle large plastic duct right below the kidney grilles because either none of that fit, or they'd have to remove the radiator and/or the intercooler in order to swap out the elements to then install the bar, which would've ran another hundred or 2 more. So I'll see what I can get done on my own because I feel it's risky to not have all that stuff installed for warranty purposes, or in case of a fender bender/accident.

Are most of the ones on eBay the same bumper as the Selma one? I'm looking at the one from Advan. Is a test fit recommended before installing? Or did most people here just get them painted and then installed?

Looks good! My buddy has the same mineral grey one as yours, except he went with the M3 rear bumper.
Here's mine. upsidedownfunnel My shop recommended it, but that takes more time. Use your best judgment.

Both rear and front bumpers I bought were priced reasonably that I'd be fine with whatever outcome (fitment) when I'm finished with the install. |

You better test fit your bumper before you have it painted, unless your sure where it's coming from.
