Hello, I didn’t drive my car for a little over a month, when I started driving it again a noticed it had a slight pull to the left and had a kinda like (vrum vrum vrum) sound at around 70-80 any speed before or after it didn’t make any noise. It has brand new tires, that I have already got balanced. I went and got an alignment recheck and everything checked out good. The camber was a bit off, -1.2 and -.8. I have replaced lower tension struts and control arms which made the noise better. Now can only be heard from around 75-80. The noise goes away when I turn right at highway speeds. The wheel has zero movement in it at all and feels smooth. I was just wondering if anyone had advice if it could be something other than a wheel bearing before I speed $500 dollars on new bearings
Edit- there is almost zero vibration in the wheel, some times there’s a very slight shake but that’s it. Really the only symptom is the noise it makes. And maybe the the camber, but I do not know what the factory camber spec is. |

If your camber is off double check to make sure your strut hasn’t been pushed through the knuckle from a pot hole strike.
I had similar symptoms with mine as well. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1608356 |

I took it on another drive and I’m almost certain it is a wheel bearing now, it gets louder turning left and less loud turning right. And the noise is slowly getting louder starting at lower speeds. |
