Anyone have any step by step instructions for the G-Series please?

Have a BMW 530e and bought the code but struggling to find a guide on steps needed for the g-series, can only find it for the f-series.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback. I also ordered the SLI FSC from Baum last night and they fulfilled it today, I coded 8TH (KAFAS2 and KOMBI only) and installed it and everything is running perfectly. I didn't code NBT as I have an ID6 flashed ID4 unit so didn't want to interfere with it. Seems like it's not required? Maybe if you are using the navigation in iDrive but I only use Google Maps via CarPlay.

Hi! I have installed SLI emulator in my car and it is working really good. It even has NPI warnings. The only disadvantage is that both cluster and HUD shows three dash lines - - - when there is no SLI data available in the maps. Do you know guys if there is a way to code it to show red/white circle with dash lines when there is no speed limit data? The same which pops up when car is parked

Hi! I am thinking of retrofitting SLI on my f15 with kafas2. From what I’ve read SLI uses Navi and KAFAS together to display the correct data. My question is , will SLI work on a country that has only main road coverage on maps (Albania) meaning most of the time it will get the data from KAFAS, or it will always display : Country not supported?
If yes can someone pm me with a price for the FSC code?

Hi,

Not sure about Albania but from what I know in Australia, the SLI speed is detected from the navigation maps and if Kafas2 camera/s detect a speed sign with a different speed, your SLI shows the road sign speed limit.

For some reason in Australia, maybe because school speed limits and road works show 25Kph, the SLI won't update to show 25, obviously BMW has looked it out.
