Hi guys! My SLI not working, it only shows --- with a big red circle in the DKOMBI without speed info. In my KAFAS status, it shows FSCstatus e07 accepted just like the pic. Do I have to flash the KAFAS 2 module? One more thing is that do I need to recalebrate ACC after flashing KAFAS 2 module? The VIN in the KAFAS2 is not my VIN, I retrofit it myself to add LDW, ACC, SLI etc... the KAFAS module is from ebay and I believe it is from an old car. Thanks for help!

You might have a problem with the map version, if it do not contain the SLI info, there will be no speed to show. Try to upgrade your map with a FSC that has the corret VIN for your car including the 8TH option.

Thanks for reply. My navigation map is the most updated, it is 2023-2 EVO version.

Yes, I go to drive on the road. It does not show anything. I did show speed info a week ago and was working fine. But it stopped working after I encoded KAFAS and DKOMBI the other day for some retrofit. Any idea what I should do to make it work again?

I already added 8TH into FA and had it written into FA. Today I flashed the KAFAS2 and now it show ' --- --- ' in the DKOMBI without speed info. I checked FSC status and found that the VIN had been changed to my VIN and all the FSCstatus became Rejected. Does it mean I have to buy FSC code for SLI and FCW and PP now? Before the flash, it showed a different VIN in FSC status. Any idea? Thanks!

Thanks! Bought genuine FSC code from the seller, imported FSC via esys and FSCstatus is now accepted under my car VIN. Also coded HU, DKOMBI, KAFAS2 after importing the FSC code, unfurtunately it still does not work. It is now still showing --- with a big red circle in the cluster without speed info. Double checked FSCstatus, it is accepted, VIN is correct. Then used ISTA to check any fault code in KAFAS, no fault code. Diagnosis tested camera, it works fine, but in Road Sign Recognition test, it seems the camera is not able to recognize any road sign. Please see the pic. What should I do? Thanks for help!

That coding is not needed for F10. F10 just needs VO Coding of 8TH in KOMBI, KAFAS and CIC/NBT. Make sure 8TD is removed from FA if present.

The bimmer8.com product is an Aftermarket SLI Module that enables SLI from Navigation Map Data only, not KAFAS Camera. It's HK Support means only that the Map Data contains SLI Data, not that OEM SLI Camera is supported in HK.
