bm3 vs mhd

I know its been done to death
But i am going to flash my own stage 2.
Which gives more power and safer for the engine.
I read MHD gives more timing corrections.

MHD works out 347 for me, Map pack and flasher license
I can get BM3 for £443 using a promo code of a website. Shall i hold off till black friday for more deals.

With BF around the corner I would definitely wait. The last couple of years the 3 major OBD tuning platforms all have given nice discounts.

You can usually get a used BM3 license for 300-350 here on the forum if you decide to go that route. BM3 licenses are transferable once. MHD doesn't support transferring though.

In terms of power do BM3 and MHD deliver same results.

Is Mg Flasher any good

Just FY you don't need specially a BM3 license for your engine type when buying a used one any type of engine type license can be transferred. Feel free to confirm with Pro Tuning Freaks though.

I can't comment on the tune types I have MPPSK.

Yes similair.. however if you go hpfp (not a tu) then the bm3 ots stage 2+ e50 will make more power. But otherwise they are similar.
Bootmod3 has the nicer logging setup with their own server and graphs and you don't need to upload to a 3rd party site etc.. and it's resellable once..

Bm3 are transferrable once, so if you are getting a used one, that money is completely gone.
There is also a risk of getting scammed by receiving a used bm3 license that's already been transferred, that's the most common scam for years.

If you buy a new one (with a discount), and then sell it for $300 - $350, you will end up making more money then buying the tune used.

Can’t comment on MHD, currently have BM3. Customer service/support from PTF/BM3 has been amazing.

MHD and previous BM3 user here. I prefer MHD's way of being able to modify the map options w/o the need for cellular data (at least for a custom tune) and the logs on datazap. Logging channels in my opinion for MHD > BM3 but for an OTS map only driver I would say BM3 has the edge for power. The flex fuel kit is also easier to install from MHD than BM3 but thats all personal opinion

Im going for MHD stage 2 now. What's the best burble settings.
I want a bit of pops but still safe for engine, turbos, injectors etc.

So ive been looking, Duration Sport 0.5 secs.
Hard as the burble.

What does Minimum rev do, Is that the minimum revs, so set above 2k if you really only want pops when ragging it.

Also is Burble in base comfort mode. So set at 0 for nothing in comfort.
