Euromillions jackpot hits £167M!

I haven't played any lottery in years and years.... but now I've got 5 tickets for the Tuesday draw!

The chances of winning are pretty negligible of course, but that hasn't stopped me dreaming of what my car shopping list would be on Wednesday if it happened!

Anyone else succumbed?

I buy a few whenever the jackpot gets stupidly big and then i dream of how should i be spending the money!

Back to reality usually in the morning when i check lol

^This. Used to have a line on every week when it was £1 but at £2.50 a throw I only have a punt when the jackpot is more than £50M.

Yes, about 20 years ago in my very first proper job when I left Uni, a colleague of mine won over a million on the national lottery. He lived in Perth too and I was friends with his daughter.

I think it allowed him to take early retirement and live a similar, albeit nicer and more comfortable lifestyle than they had. Haven't heard for ages how they're all doing but I think they got the balance right, rather than it totally taking over their lives.

I’ll buy 3 tickets when the bag is big.

Way i look at it is £7.50 blown isn’t going to make a difference to my lifestyle. A few million would.

Only time for concern is when you see folks spending money they can’t afford and thinking that they WILL win.

You need to be more careful. Last time I bought 4 lines and a scratch card I made sure it went up my nose.
