From a 1-10, what would you have rated your experience with the i3 BEV? (been keeping my eye on it for a short hop car) My biggest concern are the tires ATM.
It?s a great car if it fits your needs. I?ve had no issues during my almost two years of ownership, but your mileage may vary. Get the BEV instead of REX as the latter are prone to a lot of issues, and it?s slower. You may be able to get an incredible deal on these cars these days.

Thanks for the advice; I was concerned about those thin tires and our choppy roads. I suppose it's not an issue.

It is supposed to be a city car, so if you live in rural area this is not for you. In the city and suburban areas it handles normal road conditions fine. The instant torque from the electric motor feels really good even compared to N55/B58, although after 30mph it will fall far behind. However in most of the stop and go situation in and around the city, there is just no comparison to i3. The infrastructure is catching up and a lot of places offers L2 charging. So depends on where you leave it could be a very compelling choice.

Thanks; I live in a suburban area that is densely populated. Average speed for every trip is no more than 29mph, max speeds being 45-50. My longest trip in it would be no more than 60 miles total and the average trip would be between 16-25 miles. Sounds like it would suit my needs fairly well but it would also be a "second car for short hops"

Out with the 2013 m135i,

In with the 2014 328i GT

I have great things to say about both.
As regards the move from IL6 to IL4, zf8 speed in both, taking into consideration some simple handling mods on the 34, my over riding conclusion is this.

I miss the harder pull and the spicey noises.

Thats it. Otherwize the 34 is a perfect all around car imo.

The higher ride height is one of the reasons I bought mine.

last car is still my current car - E220CDI. I am eyeing up a 335D GT in white at the moment and currently in negotiation with the dealership.

Hopefully it goes well and I get the car next week.

From a BMW E60 525D to 335D Xdrive GT with Plus Pack.
The F34 GT wasn’t the planned purchase as I’d expected to get another 5, or possibly a 4. The 4 felt small inside and and when I happened upon the GT in the showroom I really liked the looks and the grin after the test drive sold it!

My Subaru Forester's days are numbered. I'm picking up my new 2019 GT at the performance center next week. It has most of the bells and whistles. I've been driving this Subaru since 2004, so I feel like I've earned it!

New within the last few months to a '15 F34 335x. Previously I had a supercharged and worked over 2005 CTS-V and prior to that a tweaked 1996 Impala SS.
I'm not sure if I'm feeling the F34 yet, but its great that my 4 yr old can't kick my seat if I leave it in my position!

Here were the previous the day I sold the SS.

Since 1 month i am the proud owner of a 2015 328I GT Xdrive. Before i drove a bmw 320i sedan (F30).
With 3 boys i needed the space and i was always fond of de coupe shape of the GT models (3GT as well as the 5GT).

I came from a 08 Mazdaspeed 3 with a decent amount of mods on it. I wish I could have kept both so I would leave this stock.

2016 X5 40e and a 2011 M3. So I smushed them together and wound up with a 2018 330i xdrive GT. Life situation changed (a lot) so this makes the most sense for me.

It was supposed to be delivered tonight, but I haven't heard from the driver yet. Maybe tomorrow...
