Possible HPFP cooked ??
Today i was driving my car and it shut off while idling at a red light . car wont start only cranks. Had about 50 miles left in gas tank . i am guilty of driving the car low on gas plenty of times and ran out of gas about 3 times total . LPFP is showin 84 psi in log & HPFP IS SHOWING 80-85 Psi when cranking . checked the codes through bm3 and got these codes. im assuming its the hpfp but i want to see if anybody else has had this issue and if they solved it or if anybody has thoughts of what it can be . thanks
car also had stalling issue when i drove for long periods of time ( 1-2+ hours ) it would start back up ( only happened about 3-4 times since 2 years ago ) hasnt happened for about 6 months BMW specialized shop is charging $520 for labor to replace hpfp . how hard is this to do myself and what tools would i need ? & is there a way to do it without removing manifold 21a023- combustion engine false start 11b401- high fuel pressure during or after he injection is enabled ( 2nd set of environmental conditions after a time delay - pressure too low 11a401- high fuel pressure when injected is enabled : pressure too low |

Looked normal to me i compared them side to side and were the same . The bad hpfp just had alot of debris & was dirty . i did run out of gas about 4 times idk if that has anything to do with it

Car still driving fine after swapping HPFP? Just had these same codes pop up yesterday, and acceleration was extremely not normal.
