2017 Navigation Map Updates (Updated)

Hi Shawn!

Have seen your help on this forum, really awsome!
I have a F31 2015 (June) with Nav Professional and would like to get the link to the latest Europe maps.

Can you explain a little bit why it is 00280027 instead of 002800C? Shouldn't this number be incremented by one when each time the map updates. Thanks.

The Upgrade Index is 27, as that is what BMW set it to be. You will have to ask them why they did not increment it to 0C.

Thank you! So if I want to update the map each year by myself using the generator, where can I get that FSC_Short information?

I'm wondering whether you can already PM me details on an upgrade for a 2012 CIC F30 with Navigation Professional in Germany/Europe. Is there another way to generate the code, other than using a OBD-to-RJ45 cable to extract the needed information for the generator?
