thanks
The sensor is more a matter of convenience than anything else, but not necessary, and it won't integrate with the DME (or BM3) in any way. If you go with Fuel-It! It can integrate with JB4 however if you select the right option.

As JaredG_F30 said, I also recommend a testing kit -- the ones from Fuel-It are solid, but any graduated cylinder will work. I also recommend testing the fuel at the gas station of your choice (both E85 and gasoline), and only going to that one. It's a good idea to retest their content once a month, and to run a full tank of gasoline through your car every 3,000 miles or so.

As far as the LPFP, I was about to upgrade but Cary told me it's not necessary for an E30 mix -- the primary restriction power wise for mixes higher than E30 is the HPFP.

Hope this helps!

PTF, have anything? I've always had intermittent issues, but lately I cannot use the dashboard safely while driving because it resets the connection so often.

I did some configuring on my burble duration and matched sport + and sport. When I flashed the map, I now get burbles when just in comfort mode. Is the configuration mislabeled? Should it say comfort and sport instead of sport + and sport?

Has anyone tried the beta TCM flash that PTF released for the 8-Speed? I'm curious how it compares to stock and what's actually changed (torque limitations, clutch pressures, clutch fill/exhaust times, etc.). It'd also be nice to know if all modes changed or just sport/sport+.

Yeah. These Beta testers have been pretty hush hush about the results thus far.

Hey ppl, anyone have any issues your bimmer stalling at stops?

I have an automatic F34, upgraded from stage 1 to 2 today (after hardware install) and the car stalled 3-4 times at stop signs.

This happened with stage 2 octane 91 normal and AGG.

Thanks,
Scott

It's still beta. But just heard from PTF "very soon" for the public release.

If you guys hadn't noticed, there's a new option in the map config for if you have the precision raceworks coil kit.

I'm thinking about getting new coils soon, what's the benefit of raceworks coils vs delphi, bosch, oem?

The benefits are really more relevant if you are high hp/big turbo, I believe. Holds the spark for slightly longer with more energy.

we talking faster shifting? Also still on version 7.1 N55 PWG since October would think they would of had a newer version out by now?

According to BM3 app:
Have you flashed it? If so, how is it? I'm considering doing it, but I don't want to run into problems because it's a beta.

You can't flash it unless you're part of the beta test group.

Talking ER Chargepipe & bootmod3

I'm looking into installing the ER Chargepipe with TIC, a new intercooler and going with BM3 on my '15 428i. Was wondering if I will run into any issues with smog checks I do live in CA more specifically LA. I'm new to the community and recently got my first beems. Sorry if this is such a nub question just wanted to get some information from the vets! Thanks guys!
