Mine was #8 in BWBimmer's post/picture below. BMW part number 61-31-9-265-303. This one is for models with rain sensors and front/rear fog lights, but not for adjustable headlights (headlight range control/height adjustment?). 61-31-9-265-305-04 has the second dial on the right hand side for, headlight adjustment which is automatic (I think) with Xenons.

I'd definitely echo someone else's advice to get them off eBay from Europe. They're more reasonably priced there by a wide margin.

put on some smoked reflectors, while i was at it, decided to put some monochrome decals on my calipers. might be a little lame since they're not the M performance brakes but I think it goes well with my mineral gray car, and i hated the all blank caliper look.

Hit 40,000KM (25,000 miles) so had oil changed as it was at 10,000KM (6,250 miles) OCI. Was hesitant about that interval, especially reading about the filters disintegrating (albeit at even longer intervals) but also wasn’t going to follow the 14,000KM (8,750 miles) service indicator. Was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the OEM Mahle filter and the used BMW 0W-20 LL-17 FE+ looked good draining out (I recognize appearance isn’t an indicator). Will continue with 10,000KM OCI.

Today I retrofitted Modern Line cluster into my rather normal black interior.

I like the result, pretty big upgrade visually in terms of impact/what one sees in front of them daily.

Usually you rarely see Modern line, and when you do - it has beige dash, which just ain't it for me. This combo is cherry.

yeah i'm coming from a 6WA, it definitely is worth it to me, simply because i like the modern look of it. i don't particularly think the 6WA is anything significant, the screen is tiny and barely dynamic in the information it displays. i think it simply comes down to what you're looking for from the upgrade itself, i wanted a more modern tech rich interior. my car is fairly fully loaded, and i'm planning on doing the F15 10" screen upgrade as well. so a 6WB was a must for me in improving the interior.

btw, price was also a big factor for me, i wouldn't have gotten it at the bimmertech price. buying it for 1200 from a bmw dealer was reasonable to me.

i have a connect of a parts manager at a dealership here, so i buy parts from him directly. but you can get it for only 50 bucks more than what i paid from getbmwparts.com

coding was done by steve @ codemybimmer, it's 75 bucks
